Fin-Nor OFFSHORE Spinning Reels
A massive dual drag system provides up to 60 pounds of lock-down pressure and dissipates heat during the longest offshore battles.
Strong aluminum body, rotor and side plate
Machined stainless steel drive gear, pinion gear and center shaft
4 Double-shielded stainless steel bearings
Oversized multi-stack offshore drag system
4.4:1 Gear ratio
I might get ONE of These:eek:

I haven't heard too many reviews on this one, but I was considering the same thing. Its a very respected brand and a helluva price. Not sure how it "dissipates heat" though. I'll have to check out the design IRL, but with that sort of price, I could get a second spool for bottom fishing mono.
Any TWU user reviews on these?

Well....these reels if not mistaken have not touch our shores yet. But for this price.....it's a good deal reel for those who needs it basically for reel damaging sambos. Sure those who made these reels have tested them in 1 of those harshest environment.
Those heat dissipating features are made especially for targetting long runs during the initial pulls of those hippos. You can't really feel them if runs are shorter than.....say 5-10mins.
The pros is .......still within my means of owing 1 for thrashing thou...
Juz my opinion:D

I dunno if this will affect your decision at all. I've already made mine.
I posted on the forum back home about what people thought with respect to this reel. With such a large community, many people had tried this reel out. This is the feedback I got.
